Family Fun Night is a wonderful opportunity for families who have a child (or children) with disabilities to network with other families while participating in fun-filled activities. The program consists of activity centers that are open for families to do, along with a different specialty visitor each month.
Volunteers are asked to assist with the activity centers, art projects, set up/clean-up of equipment, and to assist families and children during the program time with art projects or other activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with the interest in, but limited experience with, children with disabilities.
The last Family Fun Night of 2017 will be on Friday, December 1 st This will be a joint program with the Office of Youth and Family and it will take place at Arlington Mill Community Center. The program runs from 7:00-9:00pm. Volunteers will assist from 6:30-9:30pm.
The 2018 schedule is: January 5 th, February 2 nd, March 2 nd, April 6 th, and May 4 th. The program runs from 6:30-8:00pm. Volunteers will assist from 5:30-8:30pm at Langston Brown Community Center.
