Volunteers of America Texas is looking for fun and enthusiastic volunteers to lead BINGO with our residents at Thomas Square - an affordable housing program for seniors. Sessions should last no more than an hour and half. This is an opportunity to interact with residents in a fun and relaxed environment. Volunteering in this capacity will give residents an opportunity to socialize and interact with each other and members of the community, and to stay mentally active. Volunteers are welcome to bring prizes for our residents that include, but are not limited to: cleaning supplies, personal care items, snacks, etc.
Volunteers will have an opportunity to interact with residents in a fun and relaxed environment while helping the seniors stay active. Volunteers with the desire to work with seniors are encouraged to apply.
If you are interested, please contact Volunteer Services at volunteer@voatx.org.
