Volunteers of America Texas

Volunteers of America Texas is in search of passionate and well-spoken individuals to lead exercise classes for residents at Park Meadows Apartments, an affordable housing site for low income seniors!

The Park Meadows Reading Coordinator will be responsible for spending time reading (books, newspaper, etc.) to the residents of Park Meadows Apartments, a housing site for low-income seniors. This is an opportunity to engage with residents in a fun and relaxed environment. Volunteering in this capacity will give the residents an opportunity to socialize and be more mentally active, improving their overall quality of life. This opportunity can be done by kids or teens as long as they are supervised.

Volunteers with the desire to work with seniors are encouraged to apply.

If you are interested, please contact Volunteer Services at volunteer@voatx.org.
