Uhuru Foods & Pies is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Black Star Industries and we are looking for people who are passionate about food willing to volunteer with us on an ongoing basis and/or make a commitment of a month's time to bake with us.
This volunteer position is for the Uhuru Foods & Pies baking team We bake and sell pies during the holidays that raise funds for the programs of Black Star Industries and the Uhuru Movement supporting independent economic development in the African community.
We are looking for volunteers to commit to train to be one of our pie bakers for the Fall and Winter holidays. We have various pie mixing and baking shifts beginning in mid-October 2014 and ending Christmas 2014.
