Space, Technology and Robotic Systems (STaRS) Academy--(pre-engineering); Responsibilities: Looking for mentors to meet with students once per month. Topics of discussion will include post-secondary options, financial aid, background checks, resume/job applications/interview, etc. The academy will provide mentors and students with dinner.

The Santa Barbara County Education Office provides critical services to support special populations of students, to help teachers improve their professional development, and to help assure the financial health of the 22 school districts and two community colleges in our county. Description
North County Volunteer Corps is a partnership program jointly administered by the Santa Barbara County Education Office, the Santa Maria Valley YMCA, and the United Boys & Girls Clubs - Lompoc. Educators sumbit requests for volunteer support through our website, and our volunteer managers then match and coordinate community volunteers (like you!) to meet those needs. We are committed to connecting your personal skills and interests to the right activity for you.
