Volunteers of America Texas is in search of a dedicated and patience individuals to serve as a music/singing instructor to women at San Antonio LIGHT, a residential substance treatment facility for women and women with children.
The music class leader will be responsible for teaching the women at SA LIGHT to sing simple songs/carols and/or teach them to play an instrument. Volunteers should preferrably have some experience teaching choir or music, and/or a degree in music therapy.
Volunteers with a desire to improve the lives of women undergoing substance abuse treatment are encouraged to apply.
