Coos Watershed

Coos Watershed Association is looking for help with our salmon life cycle monitoring project. Volunteers will help with salmon spawning surveys, seining, tagging, trap maintenence, trail clearing and more!

Every year, hundreds of coho salmon return to the small upland streams of Coos Bay to breed. Once a week, members and freinds of the Coos Watershed Association take to the streams to count and tag these salmon. Data from surveys benifits everyone in the community from recreation to commercial fisheries.
