SCORE is a national volunteer organization (www.score.org) with a mission of supporting small businesses to succeed. The primary function of volunteers is to mentor owners of new and exisiting businesses through one on one counseling, focusing on business plan development. Working with businesses owners is a fulfilling and rewarding opportunity. Put your skills to work today, whether you want to counsel business owners, serve as a workshop presenter, assist with administration of the chapter or serve in a leadership position. SCORE currently needs volunteers with skills in administration, IT, sales and marketing, social media, accounting and finance, banking, training and development, and law. Bilingual (Spanish/English) volunteers have an opportunity to work on a special project serving Hispanic business owners.

SCORE is a national association of more than 13,000 business experts who provide small business owners with free, ongoing mentoring, sharing real-world advice and know how. Our mentors have substantial business skills from a variety of industries. Some of our mentors have worked as executives of large companies while others were small business owners.
