Laptops to Lesotho
Primary school children in remote villages attend poor schools with few resources, unskilled teachers, and overcrowded classrooms. Laptops provided engaging personalized learning opportunities that improve their education, teach them to love learning, and increase their chances at a richer, healthier life. Without laptops, they are destined for a hard life of bare-bones subsistence living, with a high risk of contracting HIV/AIDS and TB.

Work with other volunteers who are doing computer programming to create computer-based lessons and games for poor children in remote mountain villages in Lesotho, Africa. You will create digital illustrations and graphics the other volunteers need to accompany the lessons they create. This could be anything from a map for a geography lesson to a comic strip about HIV/AIDS to images of fractions for a math lesson. You will need email and your own graphics illustration and/or photo editing software. Laptops to Lesotho will retain copyright of anything you create for us, and your work may be posted in the public domain for free use.
