Looking for a volunteer who will help us with our general office needs. A few things we need assistance with are:
1. Data entry: we recieve detailed project reports about work that is done on the Pacific Crest Trail. We need to enter these into Raisers Edge
2. Data Entry: we need to continuously update our volunteer and donor database with current and correct information
3. Mass Mailings: we send out mailings to our constinuents to thank them for their support and let them know about other ways to be involved. We need help putting together the mailings and sending them out.
4. Blog writing: we work to keep our volunteers, fans, donors and hikers updated about the ongoings within the PCTA on the PCT and in the hiking community. We could use help with writing additional blog posts and doing research.

Each year, dedicated Pacific Crest Trail Association volunteers and staff flock to the woods with picks, shovels, saws and spirit to rebuild washed-out bridges, cut away fallen trees, and restore eroded portions of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail. PCTA recruits young and old by the hundreds to give time and energy to fix what needs to be fixed on this iconic footpath from Mexico to Canada. As a result, volunteers and corps crews devote tens of thousands of hours to keeping the trail open. Hikers and horseback riders alike will tell you that with great thanks to volunteers, the PCT is one of the finest trail experiences in existence.
Thank you for making the decision to support and care for the PCT. Your contribution to the trail will help ensure a life-changing trail experience for future generations. We know that your time and energy is extremely valuable. PCTA's goal is to provide you the opportunity to use your strengths and pursue your passions to not only better the PCT, but also enrich your own life.
