The children in our program here at American Family Housing/ Shelter for the Homeless have decided to do a service project to help shelter pets. They want to make simple no-sew blankets out of fleece and donate them to a shelter to help comfort animals in cold metal and cement enclosures. At the same time, these children will be empowered to know they can make a positive impact in the world around them. It really is a win-win!
If you are able to donate fleece fabric of any color/ design in increments of 1/2 yard or larger, please contact me. Your donation makes a difference!
