Please join us and volunteer Saturday November 1st at UAB Campus Green for the Step Out walk to STOP Diabetes!!
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who can assist with pre-event & day of event tasks, such as: set-up, take-down, marketing, logistical support, check-in, food/beverage, kids zone, and numerous other areas to provide a great atmosphere for participants throughout the year, especially the organizations primary event: Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes.
Every fall around the country, more than 150,000 walkers in over 140 cities "Step Out" in the fight against diabetes to raise funds & awareness. The walk is about changing the face of diabetes in our country by raising funds to help find a cure and by walking a few miles to bring a greater awareness to the community about this devastating disease.
