Hudson Gardens will be hosting its third annual FestiFall and we would love the help of volunteers to make it a success! This low-cost annual community event is an all-day celebration of the beauty and spirit of fall. Festivities will include a pumpkin sale, straw bale maze exploration, story times, craft stations, live raptor and educational demonstrations, music, food, and more. FestiFall supports Hudson Gardens’ educational programs that are held throughout the year.
Volunteers are needed to help a variety of tasks including assisting in the box office, greeting and directing guests, facilitating the pumpkin sale, staffing craft stations, and assisting with event set-up and tear-down. Each volunteer will be assigned to a position on the day of the event and will receive information and training specific to that position. Each shift lasts between 2.5 - 3 hours; most positions will be stationed outside. All volunteers will need to interact with a variety of guests in a friendly and welcoming manner; standing or walking throughout the shift will be required.
