Would you like to spend a part of your Friday, October 23rd having fun while benefiting the community? Then our Beacon of Hope Luncheon is for you!

Marillac St. Vincent Family Services has been serving the needs of the poor and working poor throughout the city of Chicago for 100 years. Sponsored by the Daughters of Charity, we provide vital programs and services in the areas of child development, social services, and outreach to at-risk families and individuals, senior services and youth programs.

Marillac St. Vincent is seeking 40 volunteers to assist with the Annual Beacon of Hope fundraising event on Friday, October 23rd at the Union League of Chicago. The event features lunch, keynote speaker and live auction for attendees.

Volunteer responsibilities: use seating chart to direct attendees to their table, register walk-in attendees and spot for the live auction- directing auctioneers to bidders. Volunteers needed 10:30 am - 2:30 pm, lunch will be provided for volunteers.

Please wear business casual black bottoms and we'll provide you with a free shirt on the day of for you to wear!

Sponsored by the Daughters of Charity, we provide quality child care, early childhood education, after-school programs, support for pregnant teens, comprehensive services for isolated seniors, and outreach to at-risk families and individuals.
