New Way Foundation is non-profit organization that serves at risk youth in the Greater Charlotte Area. We are currently looking for volunteers to serve on the organizations Fundraising Committee.
Identify and meet the financial needs of the organization. Lead the Board of Directors participation in resource development, fundraising and broadening the donor base through solicitation and special events.
The Fundraising Committee is responsible for:
- Corporate Giving (identifying new corporate leads)
- Board of Directors Giving
- Special Events
- Gala
Together, they work to:
- Develop an annual fundraising plan
- Determine the funding need
- Create a core communications piece and select the materials to support the importance of your organization’s work
- Identify key donors
- Select and manage effective fundraising activities
- Create a fundraising calendar and activity schedule.,

New Way Foundation is a not for profit organization dedicated to working with children, families, and the community countywide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustices.
New Way Foundation sister organization UpROAR Leadership Academy is nonprofit charter school envisioned while serving our country in Afghanistan by one of the founding board members. The focus showcases an emphasis on educating cadets to be leaders by concentrating on high academic standards as well as life skills. Our culture is on the structure of quasi-military environment to ensure that our cadets succeed in our seven core competencies: academics, vocational, life skills, healthy living and physical fitness, community service, and productive citizens.
