Looking for ways to help the immigrant community?
Join our enthusiastic team of 400 volunteers and teach the skill sets needed for better participation in our community: ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), citizenship, and/or basic computer skills. Catholic Charities-Hogar Immigrant Services needs volunteer teachers and site coordinators needed urgently for the 2014 Fall Semester.Absolutely no experience or second language needed! Training and materials are provided.

The mission of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington is rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the official teachings of the Roman Catholic faith. Description
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington's Newcomer Services is made up of two departments - Hogar Immigrant Services and Migration and Refugee Services.
Hogar Immigrant Services responds to the Church’s call for social justice by welcoming the stranger to this country, regardless of ethnicity, religion, nationality, or ability to pay.
Migration and Refugee Services is one of 104 national affiliates of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Since its founding in 1975, the office has resettled and assisted over 30,000 refugees and asylees in the Northern Virginia community.
