The Salvation Army in New Brunswick is currently seeking volunteers to help with their After School program. This program is currently held Monday through Friday from 3pm-5.30pm. Volunteers are needed to help children between the ages of 6-12 with their homework and also assist with games and craft projects.
Applicant should enjoy working with children. Volunteer must have a High School or GED diploma and volunteers who are bi-lingual would be a plus. Volunteer should be able to help one afternoon a week at least.

Description
The Salvation Army New Jersey Division has been assisting New Jersey residents since 1880. Services and programs include food for the hungry, companionship to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter for the homeless, food pantry/feeding programs, opportunities for underprivileged children, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled and many more services for those in need.
The Salvation Army New Jersey Division currently has 28 Corps Worship & Community Centers throughout the State, 65 Service Units, adult rehabilitation centers, a residential camp and an active Emergency Disaster Services program.
