That's the sound you'll hear when you help work the cash register at the Twice is Nice Thrift Shop at 932 Preston Plaze in Charlottesville. The Thrift Shop helps raise funds for Mountainside Senior Living and needs volunteers to ring out customers for 8 - 10 hours per week. In addition to seeking help at the cash register, Twice is Nice is also seeking help in processing clothing donations. Donation processors handle a 2 hour shift.
Training for both kinds of work will be provided.

For almost 50 years, JABA has provided a variety of services to help seniors remain as healthy, active, and independent as possible. Programs include information and referral, education and advocacy, and direct services such as adult care centers, community centers, senior meal programs, care coordinators, health care and health promotion programs, health insurance counseling, volunteer and employment opportunities, and conflict resolution for people in nursing homes and other long-term health care settings. Jaba believes that aging is a lifelong process, which is most successfully done in intergenerational communities.
