Especially when you give a little of yourself to others. Volunteers at the Adult Care Center at JABA participate in and/or lead activities for Center members...everything from engaging in simple conversation to encouraging a wide range of activities: morning walk, yoga, chair exercise, music and dance, arts and crafts, bingo and word games.
Times and days are flexible...your energy and friendship will make it a beautiful day for Center members.

Description
For almost 50 years, JABA has provided a variety of services to help seniors remain as healthy, active, and independent as possible. Programs include information and referral, education and advocacy, and direct services such as adult care centers, community centers, senior meal programs, care coordinators, health care and health promotion programs, health insurance counseling, volunteer and employment opportunities, and conflict resolution for people in nursing homes and other long-term health care settings. Jaba believes that aging is a lifelong process, which is most successfully done in intergenerational communities.
