We urgently need your help to answer calls on our 24 hour Suicide Prevention Hotline as a volunteer Crisis Phone Responder, in our Boise phone room.
How To Apply
• Complete application on our website, or email for one. Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Complete the online background application found within application.
• Meet with volunteer coordinator, tour hotline, attend 3 hour listening shift

TIME COMMITMENT
Attend all training dates listed below
One 4-hour shift each week for one year
Shifts are available 7 days a week: 9am-1pm, 1pm-5pm, 5pm-9pm, 9pm-1am

May 11 Monday 6pm-9pm Mental Health
May 13 Wednesday 6pm-9pm Intimate Partner/Victim’s Issues
May 18 Monday 6pm-9pm Difficult Callers/ Grief & Loss
May 21 Thursday 6pm-9 pm Addictive Behavior

The Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline is committed to the prevention of suicide in Idaho. The Hotline provides emotional support, risk assessment, crisis intervention, linkages to local services, and/or follow-up for persons with potential suicide risk factors.
