Cat Care Assistants Needed!
Our organization maintains an adoption center located at the River/ Oraclelocation of Petco where we house kitties that are looking for their forever homes.
Every day before noon, our volunteers go in to take care of the kitties who are in residence over night; this is approximately a 1-1.5 hour commitment. We clean their living quarters, make sure they have fresh food/water and give them all some special one-on-one attention out of their cages. We do this by a regular schedule (each volunteer has a scheduled day(s) each week, every week).
Currently we need volunteers for Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to rescue cats and kittens in southern Arizona animal shelters who are at risk of being euthanized for non-fatal conditions, rehabilitate them and then find them stable homes in the local communities. To participate in the education of the community about the principles of the No Kill movement, specifically as they pertain to Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR).
Description
WSKR is a run by a small group of volunteers scattered across the community. We are not operating out of a centralized shelter location, our foster volunteers open their homes to the kitties we rescue. This provides the kitties with as stable and home-like an environment as possible while they wait for their forever home to find them. We work closely with southern Arizona animal shelters to rescue cats and kittens who are at risk of suffering an unpleasant fate, we rehabilitate them and then work to help them find their forever homes. We work out of the Petsmart at Grant/Swan in Tucson to get our kitties exposure to find forever homes.
