Do you want to do something to help reduce violence and bullying? Do you like talking with people?

You can help create more peaceful schools and help youth learn positive relational skills like empathy, respect, cooperation and how to resolve conflicts peacefully. More peaceful schools = more peaceful homes, communities and world.

You are needed to share informaiton about PeaceMaker Minnesota's work and to talk with people who may be interested in learing more. You will receive material for setting up a table and an orientation so you feel comfortable talking with others about our mission.

One of the ways that PeaceMaker Minnesota raises contributions to help schools provide a safe learning environment is through workplace giving campaigns similar to a United Way fund drive. The employer organizes events and invites groups like the United Way and PeaceMaker Minnesota to set up tables and to send a representative to talk with people about the good work they can support.

Most events take place in St. Paul and a few in Washington and Dakota County. Each event usually lasts about two hours and is usually in the morning or over the lunch hour. Most events take place during the month of October.

If you believe in helping kids learn alternatives to violence and like talking with people, then this job is for you.
