Do you like being surrounded by books? Do you enjoy organizing? Help us sort our incoming donations for the Friends of the Library Bookstore!
Donations of books and other materials fill our bookstore shelves and the proceeds from these items support the library events and activities you know and love!
This role is perfect for someone who wants to support the library behind the scenes and would like a flexible schedule.
Key responsibilities:
- Sort donations, discarding books with obvious signs of wear
- Price selected items according to material type
- Shelf selected items according to subject/genre
Key Skills
- Comfortable categorizing and alphabetizing materials
- Enjoys working independently (after initial training)
- Ok with repetitive tasks
