1. Respond to phone calls received on our 24-hour crisis line 2. Assess immediate survivor needs and provide referrals and follow up services 3. Document contacts 4. Accompany survivor to the hospital and/or police station if requested 5. Attend initial 40 hour training and attend monthly meetings.
SAVE will be offering our 40 hour confidential sexual violence advocate training at Family Service League this May. Training will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 2pm.

Description
SAVE of Essex County operates a 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline, dispatch mobile volunteer Rape Care Advocates around the clock to support and accompany victims through medical and legal procedures on site in hospitals, police stations, and courts and provide professional crisis counseling as well as longer-term post-trauma counseling.
