PLACEMENT PURPOSE
To prepare adults in Southern California for disasters by motivating them to get a kit, make a plan, and be informed.
OPEN TIME DAYS
We request that each Presenter give 2 presentations a month. Each presentation lasts 45 min - 1 hour.
All Presenter Trainees must go through a three-step process to become a Presenter:
1.) Attend 1 Preparedness Education training session (5 hours classroom)
2) Observe at least 1 PrepareU presentation
3) Present at least 1 PrepareU that is shadowed and approved by a mentor.
Before giving independent presenations as a Presenter, Trainees must be approved by a current Presenter.
