Job Description
We are seeking volunteers who would concentrate their time on LinkedIn.
This position would assist the Executive Director, Co-founders and the PR/Marketing team to work on monitoring and maintaining the organization’s presence and outreach on social media.
Responsibilities could include working with all with regards to strategy and/or day-to-day functions:
- make weekly updates/correction to content
-make posts as necessary
- check messages received through LinkedIn
QUALIFICATIONS
5AA A passion for Project HEAL’s mission and love of the use of social media
5AA Must be able to commit to 5-10 hours per week ( time may be less in the beginning of project but more as we get towards the event)
5AA Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously
5AA Ability to effectively communicate information to internal and external senior executives, HEAL PR and Marketing team members, HEAL chapter team members andvendors
5AA Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
5AA Strong computer skills, PC with experience in Windows NT, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable software
- Display strong Integrity, honesty and a willingness to operate as a t eam player

Mission Statement
Project HEAL is a 501(c)3 non- profit organization that provides access to healing for all people with eating disorders.
Description
Since its founding in 2008, Project HEAL has provided over 100 applicants with access to live-saving treatment for their eating disorder, established over 30 Chapters and 25 Ambassadors bringing Project HEAL's mission and values to communities across the United States, and developed partnerships with more than 30 recognized eating disorder treatment providers across the US. The primary function of Chapters is to serve as robust local recovery communities that offer resources for those affected by eating disorders and opportunities to volunteer and make a difference in the lives of those affected by eating disorders.
We are an organization with a large volunteer base and have many volunteer opportunities available year-round. We are always looking for new people who have an interest in and passion for helping others suffering from eating disorders, poor body image, and low self-esteem.
