Our annual signature event supports the award-winning work of Hilltop Artists. We use alternative experiential arts learning in two dedicated hot shops to create powerful change and long-term outcomes in the lives of our youth and their families. Through our programs, partnerships, and youth advocacy, Hilltop Artists i s an acknowledged force in reducing truancy and recidivism, encouraging academic success, and increasing graduation rates.

Come and be a part of something BIG!

We're looking for volunteers to make the event happen, not only at the October 7th event, but also before and after the event. View shifts and sign-up online here: http://hilltopartists.force.com/volunteer/GW_Volunteers__VolunteersJobListingFS?campaignid=701F0000000xMY7

Mission Statement

Using glass art to connect young people from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds to better futures.

Description

Established in 1994 with the help of Dale Chihuly, Hilltop Artists is a 501(c)3 non-profit glass arts program that provides classes and individualized instruction for over 500 students each year. Through the program, young people have an opportunity to learn the art of glass blowing, mosaics, fused glass and beadwork. Hilltop serves a diverse group of youth and is especially effective with young people who are searching for ways to connect and belong. There is an additional focus on assisting those who find themselves struggling academically, socially and/or behaviorally. Hilltop also does specific outreach in communities that are dealing with high risk factors related to poverty, neglect, homelessness, substance abuse, and violence. Hilltop Artists serves youth ages 12-20.
