PumpkinFest

Here’s a chance for you to give back to the community! The 23rd Annual East Allegheny Community Council Pumpkinfest is being held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, with a rain date of Sunday, October 12. The festival is held on the Northside at East Commons Park (along Cedar Avenue and East Ohio Street) from 1-5 pm and attracts 1,500 children and their families. It’s the largest children’s harvest festival in the city!

The festival hosts a variety of activities including pony and train rides, a petting zoo, children’s games, a pumpkin decorating contest, and much, much more. Because the size of the festival continues to grow, we need YOUR help!

Four shifts are being offered; two for set up, one for festival activities, and one for clean-up. Please sign up for one or more of the following time slots, and note that volunteers need to be present for the duration of the shift. Food will be provided for all volunteers.
