ORGANIZATION: After the Harvest

Please come help glean apples , Thursday, September 4th, in Mission Hills, Ks.. The Field Supervisor will instruct on what and how to glean the apples and possibly help to deliver them to local food pantries. The gleaning last between 2- 4 hours. Come glean, meet new people and enjoy the weather while helping those in need!

Mission Statement

After the Harvest rescues nutritious fruits and vegetables from going to waste and donates them to agencies that serve hungry people, primarily in Greater Kansas City.

Description

Our volunteers glean after the harvest, picking what’s left in farmers’ fields and picking up already harvested leftover produce and distributing them to local food pantries and food banks that serve the great KC metro. After the Harvest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
