Power Hour is an educational enhancement program that offers help with homework, and tutoring. The homework program helps members complete their homework assignments by providing an atmosphere conducive to working, as well as the help members need to finish their assignments. The tutoring program helps members gain proficiency or excel in specific areas such as math and grammar in individual or small group sessions.;
Days and Hours Needed: Monday- Thursday 3:30-4:15pm
Most volunteers serve 1 hour per day, 1 day per week in this program

Description
North County Volunteer Corps is a partnership program jointly administered by the Santa Barbara County Education Office, the Santa Maria Valley YMCA, and the United Boys & Girls Clubs - Lompoc. Educators sumbit requests for volunteer support through our website, and our volunteer managers then match and coordinate community volunteers (like you!) to meet those needs. We are committed to connecting your personal skills and interests to the right activity for you.
