On November 1st we will do our 2nd annual Great Rake of Oakland County. We hope to rake the lawns of more than the 130 homes of homebound elderly and disabled we did in May of this year. Contact us to learn more about this most awesome event that finds strangers becoming friends in a few short hours. Truly a Faith in Action Event Beginning at 8 a.m.- 1 p.m you will be able to help in the area you care about the most.

The mission of Faith in Action of Oakland County is to support the independent living of older adults and people with disabilities through the shared ministry of faith communities.
Description
Faith in Action of Oakland County is a new non-profit group formed in 2012 and launching in 2014 to match community volunteers with seniors and the homebound who need help with everyday activities. It is a partnership of community faith groups, human service agencies, local businesses and volunteers dedicated to delivering free services to help seniors stay in their homes.
