We need volunteers to help glean tomatoes, Wednesday, Sept. 3rd., in Kingsville, MO., then help distribute them to local food pantries. The Field Supervisor will instruct you what & how how to glean the vegetables. The gleaning lasts for about 2-4 hours.

After the Harvest rescues nutritious fruits and vegetables from going to waste and donates them to agencies that serve hungry people, primarily in Greater Kansas City.
Description
Our volunteers glean after the harvest, picking what’s left in farmers’ fields and picking up already harvested leftover produce and distributing them to local food pantries and food banks that serve the great KC metro. After the Harvest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
