Mothers Against Drunk Driving will be participating at a corporate health fair on September 17th and are looking for a volunteer who lives in the area to be available to help us with our booth.

Ideally you will be a high-energy, personable individual who enjoys engaging and speaking with people.

Specifically we are looking for help in promoting MADD's Power of Parents program (for which orientation will be given on the day by MADD staff), and assisting with our stand activity.

We ask for you to be available to help from 10:00 a.m. through to 5:30pm. The expected attendance at this event is significant.

Mission Statement

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) has a new five year agenda to advance and achieve our mission and is dedicated to saving more lives and supporting more victims. This strategic direction moves us further down the road to fulfilling our ultimate goal: No More Victims.

Our new vision is a nation without drunk and drugged driving

Our new mission is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the vicims of these violent crimes and prevent underage drinking.

To achieve this we need YOUR help, and that of many volunteers in the Greater Philadelphia area... and indeed across the nation.

Description

MADD was founded in 1980 by a small group of women who gathered together for one reason: each one had lost a child because of a drunk driver. Today, it is the largest crime victims' assistance organization in the world with more than 3 million members and supporters. MADD is more than just moms. It is also dads, students, victims and concerned citizens of all ages making a difference where we live and work.
