Your service will enable us to help eliminate drunk driving, prevent underage drinking and provide support to victim survivors.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving will be present at the Upper Dublin Community Day on Saturday September 13th, from noon to 6pm.

We are in need to recruit two great volunteers who can help man our booth with a MADD staff representaive on the day.

We ask that you are available to help us erect our booth, coordinate our booth activity and distribute information about our Power of Parents program and Walk Like MADD - and then to help to pack everything at the end of the afternoon.

The estimated attendance at this popular community event will be 3,000.

Service hours are available for this assignment.

Our new mission is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the vicims of these violent crimes and prevent underage drinking.

To achieve this we need YOUR help, and that of many volunteers in the Greater Philadelphia area... and indeed across the nation.

Description

MADD was founded in 1980 by a small group of women who gathered together for one reason: each one had lost a child because of a drunk driver. Today, it is the largest crime victims' assistance organization in the world with more than 3 million members and supporters. MADD is more than just moms. It is also dads, students, victims and concerned citizens of all ages making a difference where we live and work.
