In a constant effort to keep the Headquarters location clean, neat, sparkly, and ORGANIZED; we are reaching out to the community on VolunteerMatch to help us. Hoursa are from 10AM-3PM for now. Must be able to drive to pick up founder evantually, but not right away. I have to get to know you first. Must be able to follow directions well from the start, and keep a neat and tidy area in places that are not being used at the moment. Days will be Monday-Friday, excluding Holidays. Our mission is to provide comfort and warmth to children of all ages (0 days-19 years) in hospitals throughout the US by hand-making blankets, hats and bears for them. Our Long Island, NY HQ may only produce blankets on site. Everything is made with the utmost care to our planet and its' ecosystems.
Description
March of the Blanketeers is an organization based in Long Island, NY. Here at MOTB, we deliver volunteer, handmade blankets, hats, and bears to hospitals across the country. Many children have received blankets from March of the Blanketeers across the United States. Please join us in brightening a child's day!
