"Cool Women, Hot Jobs!" We need women from diverse personal and professional backgrounds to excite our 7 th-9 th grade girls about future opportunities. As a volunteer, you will be speaking to groups of students about your career and the steps it took you to get there, including: the education, experience, and skills needed to succeed in your field; daily tasks; responsibilities and challenges of your career; and the highlights of your career. This is a unique experience for YWCP students to listen to firsthand accounts of professional women in their community.
Interested volunteers will be given a form to fill out that details their current career, as well as previous employment and education. From there, volunteers will be selected to sit on panels according to their information.
