Communities In Schools needs both male and female mentors to provide a fun, meaningful, and committed relationship with students ont he Decker Elementary School campus this school year! Mentors engage students in recreational activities (soccer, football, basketball, jump rope), arts & crafts, and board games as they build a mentoring relationship together. All mentoring takes place directly on the Decker Elementary School campus, during the student's lunch break.

Description

Communities In Schools of Central Texas has programming in 100 elementary, middle, and high school campuses across Central Texas, providing support services to students and families. Volunteer opportunities range from one-time events to weekly commitments and can include working directly with students or supporting CIS behind the scenes. Campus-based volunteers are matched to meet weekly with a student during the school year, beginning in the fall and continuing until the end of the school year.
