ORGANIZATION: Keep Lee County Beautiful, Inc.

  • 5 people are interested

The annual cleanup is organized nationally by The Ocean Conservancy, and is coordinated locally by Keep Lee County Beautiful, Inc. (KLCB). The 2 goals of the cleanup are to remove unsightly and environmentally harmful debris from Florida's coastlines and raise awareness about this preventable problem. Visit http://www.klcb.org/sp_coastalcleanup.htm for additional locations!

The Horton Park location is hosted by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary! The site is mostly geared for volunteers with small boats, kayaks, paddleboards, etc. as they are hoping to cover the 4 Mile Cove and surrounding areas and canals. Please feel free to share the event with any paddle/boat clubs you are associated with!
