The CareGivers now operates as a Catholic Charities New Hampshire program. The Caregivers mission is to help the elderly and disabled in the greater Manchester and Nashua area to remain in their homes as long as possible! This allows our clients to maintain a level of independence and comfort.
The CareGivers largest offered service is the Caring Rides Program. This program works with homebound elderly throughout the Greater Manchester area to provide transportation to and from their medical appointments. When a volunteer joins our team, they will have access to a database, where they can sign up and provide a ride for an elderly citizen in need. There is no mandatory time commitment and volunteers can assist when their schedule allows. Our software provides the details of each ride to assure its within a distance the volunteer is comfortable to travel. Volunteers have total control over which rides they select!
Caring Rides Volunteers will provide vital services such as transportation and human connection of connecting with one of our clients.
Many of our clients rely on the Caregivers as their main source of transportation. Please consider joining our team!
