Job Requirements:

Membership

Goal: increase number of SCRAP members and overall value of membership

• assist in development of membership program

• plan and execute member only specials, sales and events (ie rotating monthly membership deals, 2-for-1 membership deals, etc)

• publicize program through in store signage and social media

Gallery

Goal: to increase the quality of work in the Re:Vision Gallery and host successful gallery openings

• work with staff to coordinate, promote and hang gallery shows and First Friday openings

• recruit artists, teachers, students and volunteers to display work in gallery

Social Media

Goal: to communicate with customers and members about program offerings and increasing participation through blog and social media posts.

• engage new members through promoting events, sales and members only specials

• write blog posts about program offerings, events and artist spotlights

Skills and Experience

• Interest in SCRAP’s mission of creative reuse

• Experience in project or event coordination preferred (volunteers, events, etc)

• Skilled communicator both verbally and in writing

• Reliable, self motivated and willing to learn

• Creative thinker with motivation and follow through

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
