Make an impact by joining the Marketing & Communications Committee for the Alzheimer's Association to help raise awareness for those affected by Alzheimer's. This committee will focus on raising awareness during June which is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month. We will reach out to businesses across Iowa to "go purple" and help support the cause. Creativity is a must. This committee will be leading this initiative and commitment will be from January - July. We are looking for 5-6 diverse individuals to join this committee. In need of individuals who are passionate about the cause or helping others. Committed to raising awareness of Alzheimer's disease or other dementia. Creative. Background in marketing. Interested? The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. The Greater Iowa Chapter provides vital services, education, and support to people living with Alzheimer's, family members affected and caregivers affected by Alzheimer's. We serve those affected by providing these services in 75 Iowa and 5 Illinois counties. Offices are located in: Burlington, Dubuque, Fort Dodge, Quad Cities, Sioux City and West Des Moines (chapter headquarters). Our 24/7 Helpline is available by calling us at 1.800.272.3900.
