Memory Bears offer friendship and "soften" the feeling of grief for loved ones. Sewn from a loved one's clothing or other fabric, a Memory Bear can bring a smile to someone in distress. This unique gift is provided by VITAS to our families after experiencing the loss of a loved one and we need creative and crafty volunteers to help us keep up with the requests. All that is needed is a sewing machine and some time. We provide everthing else.

Description
Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non-medical patient and family care and offering support services in the office, using their cars and from their own homes.
