Are you interested in helping to build a set for a theatrical production? Tantallon Community Players in Fort Washington, MD is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the set of August: Osage County.
Volunteer assignments could include painting, lifting and moving set materials, and using tools like hammers and electric screwdrivers. Previous building experience is not necessary. Volunteers at all levels are welcomed ages 13 and older. Looking for team players with can-do attitudes.
Sunday, Sept. 28: 10 volunteers needed to build set, 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 12: 10 volunteers needed to strike (remove) set, 6-9 p.m.
This is a great way to learn about theater and volunteer in your community. Eligible students will earn community service hours.

Description
Tantallon Community Players (TCP), a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in 1982 to increase community awareness of the theater in Southern Maryland, through performance opportunities and workshops. To this end, it has helped foster hundreds of individuals with a sense of community and a creative experience that for some has become a lifelong interest in theater.
