We are looking for three volunteers to lead a 5 week program at Willowbrook Elementary. Volunteers will lead 4 th and 5 th grade girls in various Girl Scout leadership activities focusing on STEM kits. These kits expose to ideas and discussions on the environment through grade-appropriate environmental issues such as clean water and air, noise pollution, global warming, soil contamination, and agricultural processes.

Site coordinator: Act as lead volunteer to implement Girl Scout program in partner sites. Work with support volunteers to ensure Girl Scout program quality. Responsible for operation of program in assigned sites with support of Community Programs Troop Support specialist.

Primary Responsibilities:

Promote the values and mission of Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma

Facilitate Girl Scout program at assigned program site

Acts as a positive role model in all interactions with program participants by showing responsible and professional behavior at all times

Maintain communication with Community Programs staff regarding site progress

Work with support volunteers to gather, organize and maintain data on students including incident reports, records, supply inventory, attendance and records on student progress for the purpose of meeting program evaluation requirements.

Support volunteers: Assist Site coordinator in activities by working with girls to ensure program quality.
