Would you like to provide companionship to someone in the last stages of their life? Desert Oasis Hospice is looking for compassionate people to make a difference in the lives of patients with life limiting illnesses.
Our volunteers provide comfort through various means; listening to the stories of patients, reading to patients, playing music for them or just holding their hand. All of your time and unique talents are very much appreciated and volunteers feel a rewarding sense of fulfillment.
Must be 18 years of age or older for direct patient care. Opportunities are available throughout Maricopa County. All volunteers are screened (background check, T. B. test, drug test). If you are interested, please contact Desert Oasis Hospice 602-424-4204 or info@desrtoasishospice.com

Description
Desert Oasis Hospice cares for individuals with a life expectancy of six months or less due to a terminal illness or disease.
We provide nursing and physician care, therapists, medical social service, pastoral and bereavement care, symptom management, pain relief, medical supplies, short term and respite care.
