Description : Paralegal Internship for Fall 2014, September 8th to December 12 th (Dates are flexible per student’s class schedule and availability)
0B7 Outline of tasks/duties: The intern will work at our Pro Se Help Desk navigating visitors through petitions and orders regarding the expungement of criminal records. Interns will also be expected to assist visitors with reading criminal records, provide information concerning the process to file and where to obtain proper documents, and liaison information gathered at the City County building to the supervisor at the Clinic.
0B7 Time commitment: The internship requires a minimum time commitment of 15-20 hours per week during normal business hours.
0B7 Qualifications: Must be a self-starter; must be willing to work in direct service to visitors to the Help Desk.
0B7 Supervision: I ntern reports directly to Jessica Cooney, Project GRACE Program Manager

Description
Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic (NCLC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation offering pro bono legal representation and preventive law education to low-income families, including immigrant families. We accept clients in the greater Indianapolis metro area whose income is at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines.
