Description : Non-legal Internship for Fall 2014, September 8th to December 12 th (Dates are flexible per student’s class schedule and availability).
0B7 Outline of tasks/duties: Intern will be (1) working with Housing Counselors with families facing foreclosure to assist in negotiating workouts with their lender, (2) assist clients with gathering documentation needed to obtain a work-out with their lender, (3) assist with weekly foreclosure prevention client workshops as needed, (4) inserting client data in online database and (5) working with the Assistant Housing Director on special projects as needed.
0B7 Time commitment: Intern will be expected to work 8-10 hours per week.
0B7 Qualifications : Applicant must have completed at least first year of college with an interest in the areas of business, finance, social work, sociology or law. School credit for internship is not available.
0B7 Supervision : Intern reports directly to Isaac Hougland, Assistant Housing Director.

Description
Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic (NCLC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation offering pro bono legal representation and preventive law education to low-income families, including immigrant families. We accept clients in the greater Indianapolis metro area whose income is at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines.
