We are looking for an Entertainment Coordinator who is responsible for coordinating the entertainment, performance schedule and the needs of the entertainers for THE ITALIAN FESTIVAL held on Nov. 1st & 2nd.
Other responsibilities include:
Set entertainment schedule with approval from Festival Committee
Help scout entertainment if needed
Give Cheryl a final list of rental items needed for Green Room
Attend Volunteer information meeting to meet with entertainment volunteers
Send entertainment bios to program editor
Assign volunteers to tasks and times
Communicate with Kitchen in providing snacks, refreshments, etc. for Green Room -
Coordinate entertainers equipment needs
Coordinate with sound company to meet entertainers needs
Keep Communication open with entertainers regarding Festival info, their set times, parking, green room information, etc.
Set up Green Room
Coordinate entertainment to ensure easy flow of performances
Coordinate on stage equipment
Communicate and coordinate with Emcee
Coordinate entertainment to ensure easy flow of performances
Coordinate on stage equipment
Communicate and coordinate with Emcee

Description
DesertArc was founded in 1959 by a small group of concerned parents who wished to expand the horizons of their children's lives. Those heroic first efforts drew the invaluable support of the community, and eventually a professional staff has emerged to meet the growing needs of the mentally and physically challenged citizens of the Coachella Valley and the Morongo Basin. The hard work and support of many people have produced results beyond the dreams of that initial handful of parents. Their goal today, as it was in the beginning, remains unchanged: "...to improve the quality of life for persons who are mentally and physically challenged."
