Sarah's Closet & Comprehensive Services meets the needs of the food insecure through its grocery distribution and clothing program. We are seeking friendly, people-oriented indivuals for the following days and times:
- Monday from 10am to 2pm to sort food and clothing for distribution.
- Tuesday morning (11:00am - 1:00pm)
- Thursday morning (10:00am - 12:00pm) and
- Thursday evening (5:30pm to 7:30pm)
- Friday morning (10:30am - 11:30am).
This is a wonderful opportunity to lend a helping hand to someone who needs it.
Additionally, we need volunteers on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 11:00 to unload our truck and stock product.

Mission Statement
Sarah’s Closet and Food Pantry’s is a non-profit resource that provides food and clothing for the children, seniors, unemployed and underemployed citizens of DeKalb County.
Description
The goal of Sarah’s Closet and Food Pantry is to service an average of 200 hundred families per month or 130,000 lbs. of food per year. We currently service an average of 60 families per month or an average of 200 families per month and have turned away an average of 25 families per month because we ran out of food. Our objective will be to provide 260,000 lbs. of food to service 400 families by the end of this year.
