Students! Do you need LAST MINUTE service learning hours? Volunteer at the 3 Trails (Bannister) Community Recycling Center Saturday, May 9, either 9am - 1pm or 1-5pm. Volunteers assist the recycling center site manager with various duties, such as breaking down cardboard or styrofoam, assisting patrons, etc. This is an outdoor volunteer opportunity, and other dates are also available. Bridging The Gap (BTG) educates citizens, businesses and governments about the impact their decisions have on our environment. We help them follow through with direct action to make our world, region and community green, healthy and sustainable.
BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
